Fitness Tip for Today

Try aiming for 30 minutes of increasing intensity today within your cardiovascular exercise routine. For example, if you are walking on the treadmill, aim to increase the speed and/or incline every 2 minutes. You can increase by .5mph or even 1% incline, but aim to keep that intensity constantly changing. Keep that heart rate up today.

Increase Your Weight

Increase your weight today. Find someone in the fitness center or a friend that you normally lift with and have them push you to your max today. Regardless of the exercise or specific body part that you may be exercising, increase that weight today even if it’s only for a few repetitions.

Constant Change

Do you usually break up your resistance exercise into segments such as chest/triceps and then back/biceps? Try something throughout the next few days. Focus on one single muscle group. For example, today focus solely on exercises that engage the triceps. Remember our goal is constant change.

Fitness Tip

Find one piece of equipment today in the gym that you have never tried. Don’t get caught up in doing the same exercises week in and week out. Make sure you are constantly changing your routine in order to keep your body guessing on what is coming next.
